The laaaaaaaaaaaaaast post

Hello everyone and happy New Year!!!

Well… this is the last post of the English III class. Today I will talk you about my blog experience in this class.

The English class has always been difficult for me (since the primary school). This experience was good for me, because to write in English every week has been beneficial to improve my English level.

In the beginning was difficult write, because the energy in this semester has been less than another year, this by the stoppage of classes in winter. But with a couple of weeks, I took the rhythm and every post became easier.

In my blog, I wrote on different topics, but usually about my career or sports.

I have felt my small progress in the English classes this year. The first semester, with the teacher Daniela, I and my classmates work more in the oral interactions. In this class we work more the writing interaction in the blog and the commentaries in the post of the mates.  

The writing interaction with the classmates has been good for everyone, because has allowed us to know more the life, experience and perspectives of the different topics of the posts.

For the next years I will continue working to improve my English level, because I would like to study outside the country. 

The little triumph

Hello everyone,

Today I will talk you about one of the best moments in this year. In April Coquimbo Unido, my favorite team, played with Barnechea for the permanence in the second division of the Chilean soccer league.

Well, the performance of Coquimbo in the 2015-2016 season was the worst of the history, but Barnechea also had a bad performance in the tournament.

I remember that I traveled to see the match.  The day of the match, the Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso Stadium of Coquimbo had full stands. All the galleries were yellow and black.

I was very nervous… The match started and in the third minute Barnechea had a penalty kick. Renato “The Shark” Ramos scored… but in the fourth minute Renato Tarifeño (“Tarisueño”) scored and put the tie.

In the 25 minute Joe “The platinum” Abrigo scored by a perfect free kick and in the 37 minute Leonardo Monje scored the third goal of the first time.

In the second time, Joe Abrigo scored again with a powerful shoot. And in the 79 minute, Francisco Levipan scored and put the definitive score. 4-2 and the permanence for “The Pirates”…

I was very happy. 

Radio...heart

Hello everyone:

Today I will talk you about my favorite subject in this semester of third year of Journalism. This subject is “Producción Periodística Radial”, with the teacher Raul Rodríguez.

The classes are the Thursdays and starts at 8:30 am and finish at 13:30. In these classes we go to different sites of Santiago to report news, like a press conference, a manifestation in Alameda. But the work doesn’t finish there, because sometimes we have to go back to the University to make a radial note.

Other things that we do in classes are the special transmissions, when all the students work in group to a special date, like the president Aylwin death, the “No+AFP” march or the municipal elections.  

The last semester we had the “Oral and body expression module” to work the diction, modulation and other thing with the voice. And we studied all the journalist radial formats, like chronicles, reportages, notes and commentaries.  

The pressure of this subject is very hard sometimes, but I love it, because I love the radio. All my life I wanted to work in a radio, like Cooperativa.

Hello everyone,

Today I will talk you about one of my favorite news website; this is “AS Chile”. This is a sport page and you can find information of basketball, athletics, surf and more, but the national and international football has the principal attention.

“AS” is a Spanish newspaper -and website-, but has different editions for America. México and Colombia have too an edition special. In this page you can find news, chronics and opinion columns, videos and match scores principally.  I read this website since 2014 when I started study journalism and I visit this one time in the week, minimum. 

In Chile different journalists works for the website, like Juan Cristobal Guarello, this journalist is a referent for me; because he is so critical when talk about the sports in the Radio ADN and Canal 13. Well, this journalist has written different opinion columns in this page. Other writers of this page are the professor of ICEI Cristian Arcos, Rodrigo Hernández, and sometimes different retired sportsman, like Elías Figueroa.

Crash in the Snow

Hello everyone,

Today I will talk you about my favorite photograph that is the "FIS World Championships", taken by Christian Walgram, from Austria. Walgram is a professional photographer of Europe and this photo was winner of the World Press Photo 2016 in the sports category.

Well… my favorite photos are of sports, because I like different sports like football, basketball or another.

This photo is spectacular for me, because it was taken in a moment that is not very typical for the different photographers. The most of sport’s photos are similar, when the different competitors are make good the discipline. This photo is taken in an instant before that the skier crashed with the snow. 

In the photo that was taken in February 8th, 2015, we can see the Czech skier Ondrej Bank at the FIS Alpine World Sky Championships, when he lost the control in the competition and finally have the accident. He was hospitalized with different injuries. 

The phone

Hello everyone:

My favorite peace of technology is the cell phone, this is one of the objects that the society most use in the actually. Years ago, the phone only uses to call and send messages, but now the cell phones have different apps that connect you with your friends or family.

I got my first telephone when I was have 11 years old and in that time I only use to send messages and play the games of the cell phone. Now I’m use the cell phone to do different things in my life, like call my family in Coquimbo, search things in Internet, send mails… I’m studying journalism and the phone help me to do some things in the career. When I have to interview someone the telephone can use it like a graver or when I have to take some photos in a place I can use the cell phone. Well…I use the cell phone almost all day.

The principal reason for me like use the cell phone because connects me with my family, because they don’t live in Santiago. Well, my life without the phone would be like a little more difficult, because I couldn’t connect often whit my family :(.

Harry Potter, Clavito Godoy or Clark Kent?

Hello:

Well... when I was 5 years old, my dream was be a wizard. I was watch differents wizards presentations in TV and that experiences make me feel so interest in the magic tricks with cards, different objects or illusionism. But when I was in the 2^rd year of high school I considered study for be a soccer coach career, but that idea was so hard to do, because the circle of coaches it’s so close and if you weren’t a football player the possibilities are so little, for that in 3^rd grade of high school I decided study journalism. 

When I was 16 years old, I had a history teacher that work in a radio and I asked him if I could visit the radio. My teacher answered me that was possible and after my visit the interest for work in a radio born immediately. After the option of study journalism was be concreted, because the career let me work in differents areas of the Mass Medias like TV, newspapers or radios and differents sections like sports, music and more.
